The “Shoes & Leather 2009 - Vietnam” was successfully held from 27 - 29 August 2009 at “SECC” - Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre. The displayed items include shoe machinery, tanning machinery, leather-goods machinery, leather, raw hides, shoe materials, chemical and accessories.

In the “Shoes & Leather 2009  Vietnam”, there are total of 110 international exhibitors from 16 countries and regions. They are Brazil, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, & Vietnam; some of them also came together with their country pavilions. They showcased the new technologies and products in global shoes and leather industries. Within the 3-day exhibition period, 6,300 professional visitors were recorded. According to the survey, most of the exhibitors were pleased with the visitors' quality; they were interested in participating again in the forth-coming year, as believe that the exhibition can expand their businesses into worldwide status.
